HEIC to JPG Converter
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, and half the world's software still refuses to open them — upload forms, old Windows PCs, Android devices, print services. This converter decodes HEIC right in your browser and exports a standard JPG. Your photos stay on your device the entire time.
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) saves storage space, which is why Apple switched to it in iOS 11. The catch is compatibility: many websites, printers, editors and non-Apple devices simply won't take the file.
JPG is the universal fallback — every device, browser and app from the last 25 years opens it. Converting once means the photo can go anywhere: upload forms, family chats, photo books, client folders.
Most HEIC converters upload your pictures to a server first. This one doesn't: the HEIC decoding happens locally in your browser, so personal photos never touch the network. Nothing to delete afterwards, no storage limit, no account.
A High Efficiency Image Container — Apple's default photo format since iOS 11. It stores images at roughly half the size of JPG, but support outside the Apple ecosystem is still patchy.
JPG is lossy, but at the default quality of 90 the difference from the original HEIC is visually undetectable. You can raise quality to 100 before converting if you want maximum fidelity.
One at a time for now — drop a photo, convert, download, then replace it with the next. The workflow is deliberately simple and each conversion takes a second or two.
HEIC compresses more efficiently than JPG — that's why Apple chose it. Expect the JPG to be somewhat larger; that is the price of universal compatibility.
